I love the exotic travel theme, carried out beautifully by associate art director Eva Wojnar and a talented team including writer/stylist William Kissel and the folks at John Parrish Photography. There’s a simple quote I’ve kept for years, scribbled on a little piece of paper, that sort of sums up my goal for this winter’s Gift Guide Issue. it’s from James Matthew Barrie, the Scottish novelist and creator of Peter Pan, and it reads, “Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.” Here’s hoping this magazine presents you with a bit of sunshine this winter.
